House of Love
The House of Love is one of our three homes here at the Four Corners Home for Children. The House of Love was built in honor and memory of Chris Fitz. Chris was the son of Bob and Leslie Fitz, who were houseparents for five years here in the 1980’s. Bob currently serves in the role of Projects Manager. Chris was a young man who was full of love.
The House of Love is an all-girls home and there are currently 8 young ladies in our care. Nelene Kellogg is doing a great job giving love, care, and happy memories to these wonderful young ladies.
The children who enter our care usually have a distorted view of what love is. They come from homes of abuse and neglect so they see what love is not. They see the absence of love. We are here to show them what real love is. Once they have been here a while they feel safe and they open up. Then they are able to accept that love. Along the way they also have the opportunity to meet Jesus, who is Love!
